April 2026 Fish Meet
After a few tough months, the weather finally turned it on, glassy conditions, blue skies and some magic days on the water, with a few cheeky swells to keep things interesting.
The fishing absolutely delivered, with 50+ fish hitting the big screen and a stacked mix across both Juniors and Seniors. Flathead, Queenfish, Mackerel, Tuskies, Trevally, Cod and even a Barra made an appearance.
April 2026 Club Trip to Boondooma Dam
Our first club trip away for 2026 at Boondooma Dam definitely didn’t disappoint. Firepits going as the sun dropped, lines in the water chasing that next big one, and fresh red claw straight from the pots to the plate (the homemade pasta was next level). Cold beers, plenty of laughs, and the kind of stories that somehow get better as the night goes on. But more than anything, it’s the people. This club is about more than fishing, it’s the community, the good times, and those moments you wish you could bottle up.
From first light to the last glow of the fire, it was a bloody good weekend. Already looking forward to the next one
March 2026 Fish Meet
Despite some wild weather, members still managed to land some impressive catches during the March Fish Meet. The weigh-in was followed by the always entertaining River Heads Cup Mud Crab Races, which proved to be a big hit with members and spectators alike.
